The choir program depends on our families taking an active part in all aspects to maintain an extraordinary program and present quality productions.

It is difficult to keep a program like this thriving while maintaining the high level of excellence that the FHS Choir is known for! The Choir Boosters invite you to donate to help us continue the award-winning program with the quality each student deserves. The minimum cost per student to participate in the base choral program is $100. (Depending on which choir(s) your student participates in, your fair share may be more.) 

We encourage each choir family to make at least the minimum donation of the fair share amount. The fair share choir membership is for each student involved in the Foothill Choir program to meet basic expenses for the year. 

Your tax-deductible donations are applied to the following expenses and so much more:

• Piano Accompanist – an absolute necessity for the Choral Music Program

• Sheet Music and supplemental educational materials

• Recordings

• Festivals, benefits, and other performance opportunities – Registration fees and incidentals

• Master Class – compensation of professional artist, planning, and logistics

• Piano tuning and repair

• Support for singers and performances

• Awards and Banquet

• Stage decorations/sets; renting sound and lighting equipment; equipment purchase and maintenance

• Concert venues

There are additional benefits offered for your level of support that is above and beyond the fair share.

IMPORTANT: Only Bronze, Silver & Gold Level Donors contributing by Sept. 19, 2025 will receive a choir t-shirt. Silver & Gold Level Donors contributing by Dec. 19, 2025, will receive a pre-assigned time to the Knights pre-sale event.
